Activity – Radiosonde data and dry convection (advanced)
Here we are describing an activity using observed temperature profiles from atmospheric data to study dry convection.
Case Study: Yuma, AZ June 18, 2007 – an example of dry condition over California during the summer of 2007 – see surface map, showing very dry conditions over Arizona at that time.
To plot the observed data and verify dry convection, see Instructions.
